    Amazing Long Weekend

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home with our baby and another couple. We repeatedly commented on how perfect the weekend was - the property is beautiful, the view is gorgeous, and the location is convenient for those flying into BWI and those in the DC Metro Area. We enjoyed every moment of our long weekend - we spent all day outside, grilled, sat by the water under the beach umbrella provided, went kayaking (with provided kayaks), rocked our baby to sleep on the porch, let her play in the sand, made smores, cooked in the super nice kitchen, woke up to the water views and generally enjoyed ourselves every minute. Beyond the view, the house itself is beautifully decorated and beautifully furnished. It was a more expensive option than we had initially planned for but worth every penny. Everything you will need is also provided - and when we noted something that was missing (very minor - grilling tools for the barbecue), they were purchased and available for us the next day. Just in case anyone is concerned about the property owner living onsite, you should not be. The owner was very kind and courteous. I could tell she truly wanted us to have a wonderful weekend and enjoy her home. She did not seem to hear us and we did not hear her so there are no noise issues. Overall, we would definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it to our friends.

    Hurry Hurry

Hurry and book this new home addition to VRBO before it is booked up. The pictures, while wonderful, do not do this breathtaking home justice. It is a dream home they us travelers that prefer home rentals to hotels can borrow from time to time. The home I'd located at the end of a quiet road directly on the bay. Views galore from the windows leave dramatic images you can fill your camera roll without venturing out. Just a quick 10 minute ride to downtown Annapolis where you can enjoy some of Marylands famous crab cakes, shop, or just sit in a street cafe and people watch. This place is perfect for a family getaway to a guys/gals weekend. If I had one thing to change it would be I did not stay long enough. FYI, the price of the rental is worth every penny and the owner is a doll. I hope we stay in touch because I instantly fell in love with her and her home. Thanks for your Kindness...we will be back.

    Fantastic Vacation

I honestly can't say enough good things about this property and the owner. We celebrated my Mom's birthday there with some family for 3 nights, and it was perfect. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, with lots of attention paid to details that one wouldn't normally expect from a rental property. It is very spacious--everyone had room to spread out. The property is also incredibly well-provisioned---it's completely stocked with every item you could possibly ever need, from household goods, to spices to recreational equipment, including kayaks, paddleboards, fishing rods, bedding, a pack-n-play, even children's toys (which our 2-yr old loved). The outdoor spaces, including the large balcony, patio areas, sandy beach and dock were amazing and kept us more than entertained. Jean, the owner, was so sweet, a pleasure to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property is perfectly situated. It is located near the very end of the point with very little traffic, but still within a mile or so from the amenities of Hwy 2 and only a 10 minute ride or so from downtown Annapolis--it was the best of both worlds. Everyone in my family just loved this place and remarked how we couldn't wait to come back.

    Beautiful house/property and wonderful owner!!!!

This house is perfect. As a group of twelve young professionals looking for a relaxing summer weekend, we couldn't have asked for more. The bedrooms are spacious, communal areas are great, dining room is perfect for big group meals, and kitchen/refrigerator was able to accommodate $600 worth of Costco easily. As for the property, the backyard is incredible. There's a nice patio for shade, wide open grassy areas to tan and play bocce, a big spot with lounge chairs, fire pit, and charcoal grill, a small private "beach", and a 250 ft. pier that leads right into water that is refreshing, but not too cold. You are RIGHT on the water so the location could not be better. Also, do not at all be concerned about Jean living on-site. She was lovely to work with, extremely helpful when we had questions, and gave us plenty of freedom throughout the weekend. We hope to come back next summer!!

    Brilliant

This is a little late - apologies to Jean! We had a great time there in September this year. The location is fantastic. The pictures to not do it justice. The view is excellent. The accommodation is very clear and very tastefully decorated and furnished. It is a great base to visit Baltimore and Washington and a lot more besides. There are lots of little bits and pieces available to make your holiday more pleasant. Its the simple things - a great kitchen also comes with a store cupboard with a whole range of bits and bobs you often find you have to go out and buy - Spices, oils, vinegars, kitchen towels etc etc and much more. In the garage there are spare ... honestly pretty much spare everything .... and Jean really does want you to have a good time so it appeared that nothing was too much trouble. Kayaks and other things to help enjoy the lake, life jackets for safety. I have forgotten lots. I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the property, the area, and Jean herself. We would have been happy to have seen more of Jean during our stay. Jean has a lovely little Dog called Julie (If I had not seen her I would have not believed she existed - not a sound!) If it were not for the UK quarantine laws I am pretty sure my wife would have kidnapped Julie and I would have been a willing accomplice. I hope to visit again, and wish Jean (and more importantly Julie!!) all the best for the future. Adrian

Ideal Setting for our Low Key Girls Weekend

Jean's house was perfect for our weekend away. We arrived in waves and Jean greeted each of our party and made sure everyone got in okay. We ate all of our meals at the house and found it well stocked for cooking. The grocery store was just 7 minutes away. On a clear day, the sun rises on to the river. The view out of the back windows was breathtaking. We felt away from it all after just a 1 hour drive from the city. We would definitely rent this house again.

A beautiful home with a fantastic view. There was 10 people & we had plenty of room. The river was nice & many of us spent time in the river on several occasions. Our host, Jean, was extremely helpful with our needs. We would love to return to this home in the future.

    Warm, peacful and wonderfu

We are native Washingtonians, rent and travel properties world wide. Our company had a business retreat of 12 coast to coast staff for a 4 day weekend. The combination of water views, space and location were absolutely perfect. It is a quiet picturesque neighborhood. We parked most cars at the house and a few at the top of the hill. The sleeping areas were ample and we utilized the sofas and airbed as well. with several lovely porches, window walls, picnic tables, fire pit, beach and pier, there was always dramatic scenery and wildlife to enjoy. The home is well furnished with plenty of extras and ideal for hospitality. The owner was lovely and accomadating. The entire group went to Kent Narrows one night and had a memorable crab feast on the water, we finished up with a camp fire at the waters edge until 11 PM. The homes location is perfect. FYI, there was a chair lift for handicap which would be awesome if needed. We will visit again, do not hesitate in any way with this property.

    Pre-Wedding Getaway

Our blending family is from Frederick Maryland and spending a few days on the water was the perfect blend of family reunion and relaxation. Jean's home was perfect for the eight of us and provided ample space, beautiful décor and stunning water views. Everything we could have needed was there including the lift for our boat. It had everything! Of all the places we have stayed this took the blue ribbon. Jean, thank you for everything. We enjoyed ourselves and your home more than you'll ever know and we do plan on coming back.

  • Minnesota Family   Minnesota

    From Minnesota

I can only say our stay was excellent. The house was immaculate. Everything we could need was there. It was a family get-together (including our daughter's cat and her fiance's dog.) Jean was absolutely wonderful and we would definitely come back. Thank You So Much - Jean

    Family Vacation

Outstanding. The house offers a great location, is fully equipped and convenient to Annapolis, Baltimore and DC. River access is wonderful and kayaks, paddle boards and long dock provide for fun opportunities for everyone. Jean (the owner) is lovely and accommodating. Our large, extended family had plenty of room. Ideal vacation spot. Thanks, Jean.

    Wonderful Experience

Beautiful home, stunning views, the best equipped rental property I've ever been in. Jean is accommodating and very helpful if needed. We used the boat lift, kept our jet ski out by the dock, used the community ramp to launch the jet ski. It was literally everything we wanted in a vacation and more! We will definitely be back!

    Great Beach, House, & Hospitality

Jean, her house, and property were fantastic. I've never stayed at another VRBO rental that was so accommodating. Jean provided all of the little things that I hate having to pack or rush out to buy when I arrive at a home rental (paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, ziplocks, salt, pepper, COFFEE). We loved using the paddle boards, life jackets, kayaks, stair gates, beach chairs, fire pit, crab pots, grill and charcoal... Everything was perfect. The little beach was a wonderful surprise and enjoyed by everyone. My husband and I shared the master bedroom and were excited to find a small eave which was a perfect little bedroom for our two year old for the week. Empty dressers and closets were available to store our things and space in the garage for our strollers. I can't say enough nice things. We hope to return next year!

    Wonderful Vacation Home

We came to DC for a wedding! The house was so clean and it had everything (detergents, coffee, fluffy bath towels). Jean was so accommodating. She gave us baits and taught us how to catch the crabs at the end of the dock. The crabs were delicious! Thank you Jean. We still reminiscing about the beautiful view of the river. We missed you Jean.

Beautiful Property with fantastic views of the river.

This was the 2nd time my family spent our annual Thanksgiving Reunion in the Severna Park/Pasadena area (at this property). The house is huge with 2 master bedrooms and sleeping accommodations for 10-12. The 2 master bedrooms and all living areas have fantastic views of the River and there is a dock and nicely landscaped areas facing the River. This year we even built a fire in the fire pit and the children roasted marshmallows. There is a large kitchen with updated appliances and a large dining room table that easily seats 10-12. There are 2 1/2 baths and luxury towels are provided and the washer/dryer come in handy. There is a full supply of dishes, cooking pots and pans, a microwave, and paper goods. Jean, the owner lives below the rental area and is the nicest person you could ever meet. Jean is always there to answer questions and provide any additional items you may need. There is shopping close by and it is a 15-20 drive to Annapolis and 3/4 of an hour to downtown Washington, DC. I highly recommend this property for family or friends events.

One of the most beautiful homes I've ever been to.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view to the river. We loved every minute of our stay and did not want to leave. We do definitely want to come back sometimes in the future.

    Best sibling weekend!

Me and my 3 siblings rented this waterfront property for a 4 day weekend connection. The place was all that we hoped for and more. The home was beautiful and felt like a home away from home. All the ammendities were provided, all we needed to bring was food. The weather wasn't the best but we were still able to sit on the dock, go kakaying, have a cook out on the beach, enjoy an evening around the fire pit, watch the birds from the telescope and my bother even went for a swim each morning. I would highly recommend this beautiful home. The owner, Jean and her adorable little dog was near by to assist or answer any questions. Thank you Jean for allowing us to enjoy your home. We had a memorable weekend. Hope to do it again in the near future.

  • Katie   D.

    Best rental experience EVER!!!

Our family of six and our friends' family of five had the most wonderful time staying at Ms. Ferguson's beautiful house in Severna Park. It was stocked with everything we needed. The property was gorgeous. We went paddle boarding, kayaking, crabbing, swimming...etc. The kids have such great memories from our stay. They talk about it every day and our three-year-old now wants to move to Maryland.

  • Karen   B.

Relaxing, wonderful extended Family weekend with a Surprise Party!

What a fantastic home and location! The owner, Jean and her cute dog Julie, are wonderful hosts. There were 11 of us in the house and plenty of room for us all. Everything is provided with the house: beach, pier, rafts/floats, beach toys, kayaks, SUP boards, paddles, lifejackets, fishing rods and lures, crab cages/crab bait, bug spray, fluffy towels, soft sheets, plenty of dishes/glassware/cooking utensils, full pantry of spices and basics and many other items which make the stay so easy and comfortable. We threw a surprise 50th Anniversary party for our parents with guests and Jean was very accommodating and helpful as we planned and coordinated this event months in advance. Even though my family is local, my kids are already asking when we can come back to 11 Cedar Point. I will spend months daydreaming of this slice of paradise. It is lovely and memorable!
