Quaint cabin in a great location

My family stayed at the guest cabin while visiting Discovery ski area for a ski race. We were all very comfortable and slept well. The accomodations are simple but provide everything necessary. The deck overlooking the mountains and lake really make the place. We loved to hot tub as well. We will definitely be staying here again!

    Quick getaway

We spent 2 nights at this little red cabin. It was great. It is cozy and the view is beautiful from the hot tub. Everything you need for a quick get away is provided. The owners are great!!!!

    Stay Here!

Our family stayed at the little red cabin for a week over the 4th of July. The listing described this great place perfectly. It was extremely clean and well maintained. There was a nice update in the kitchen, which was also well stocked with dishes etc. The area is perfect for so many fun outings. We explored the mountain roads, toured nearby museums, hiked, kayaked, and relaxed in the hot tub at the end of the day. The owners are super easy to work with. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a relaxing break! Jeff and Barb Cote Casselton, ND

    Awesome cabin!!

This cabin is so amazing! Our family of 5 came in from San Diego and stayed 3 days in this cabin. It had everything we needed.. Towels..toilet paper... Washer/dryer!!!! Everything!!!!!! The view was beautiful and the hot tub was so nice to have in the middle of the forrest!! We absolutely loved this little cabin and would definitely stay here again!

    Clean and Cozy Wilderness Cabin

Couldn't ask for much more. The cabin was just off the main highway but still relatively secluded and within walking distance of Georgetown Lake. It was very clean, well kept and cozy and came fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you could possibly need along with bedding, towels, shampoo, soap etc. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but the water was clean. Would definitely rent it again if we were back in the neighborhood as we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Bring bug spray as the mosquitoes were pretty bad as they were in other places we stayed in Montana.

    Gorgeous views

The views from this cabin are phenomenal, especially from the hot tub! The cabin is just the right size for two people and a chihuahua. I really appreciate owners who welcome dogs, as we always travel with our fur baby. Cute decor, nice furniture and lots of privacy.

Beautiful mountain cabin, clean, cozy, comfortable, well appointed. Beautiful views and setting!!!

Once again, we had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing time at Whispering Pines Cabin! Comfortable, cozy, clean and well appointed, WPC never disappoints, always wishing for "just a couple more days!" Had tons of fun kayaking on Georgetown Lake and biking up to Discovery Ski Area!! We loved the newly remodeled kitchen, very nice!! Can't wait to visit again and do some soaking under the stars!!

    Cute cabin

My family really enjoyed staying at this cabin. The views from the cabin were great, and my dad, husband and sons loved fishing in the Georgetown lake and rivers. I would recommend this cabin to anyone with children or even a couple get away!! The owners provided detailed instructions prior to our stay so were we prepared with everything we needed for our stay. I hope to rent this cabin again in the future!

    Much enjoyed.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very well stocked but could use a good dusting and more bath towels.

    Little Red Cabin revived.

What another wonderful Christmas we spent at this home. We stayed last year and well it was close to what we wanted to do and cozy. This year, the love was felt by all the new they brought. The kitchen is laid out so much better and is BEAUTIFULLY done. The hot tub was cozy and fresh feeling. The floors were cleaned up and the new couch, brought us some more seating/bedding. Thank you again for sharing your cozy cabin with us. We LOVE IT and will be back.....

Whispering Pines Cabin - End of Year Visit

Our 2016 "End of the Year" family trip was a good fit with the Whispering Pines Cabin. In late December with snow all around, the cabin was very comfortable. We had access to everything we needed in terms of kitchen services, bedding etc. The outdoor deck hot tub was a treat and enjoyed by all 5 of us. This area provides lots of outdoor recreation opportunities, but some in our group forgot to bring their skis SO we just had to do some downhill sledding on the nearby hills, find the comfiest chair to sit in and read, soak in the hot tub, battle out a long game of Phase 10 and enjoy the views of the Pintler peaks from the cozy main room. Enjoy stay at Whispering Pines - we did.

Great little cabin just minutes away from Georgetown Lake

This cabin had everything we needed. A quick run to the grocery store and we were set for the week. We spent most of our time at Georgetown Lake or visiting the nearby towns. But it was nice to come back to a cozy cabin for a relaxing evening after adventuring around all day. It was a great experience and a perfect place for anyone visiting the area.

    Wonderful get-a-way.

  • Mike   H.

Great place to stay and everything you need is there.

We had a great time at Whispering Pines. The cabin couldn't be any nicer and had everything we needed. We plan on coming back again next year and will recommend this placed to our friends.

    Slice of Paradise

We loved our four nights at the Whispering Pines. The owner was very easy to reach and did help us out with one minor issue. We don't have much to add from the other reviewers. The places is stocked with everything that you could need expect for food, so a quick trip to Anaconda for groceries is all you need. The hot tub is WONDERFUL!! We spend at least a couple of hours every evening enjoying it. 102 degrees is ideal. A few things to be aware of -- 1) AT&T does NOT have service at this spot. Verizon does, but AT&T's signal stops at Georgetown Lake. 2). The Internet service from a provided Verizon puck goes up and down, but does work. However, why both being on the Internet when you are here? 3) Go to Washow Theatre in Anaconda to see a new release in a wonderful older building. 4) Check out Hummingbird Cafe in Butte for some non-traditional Butte food! 5) Fairmont Hot Springs is a wonderful place to get away to for the day. Suggestions for the owners: We always like to suggest a few small things, so the two that came to mind are black out curtains in the master room plus a telescope for the deck. :-)

The cabin is everything it's advertised as plus more. I would recommend this cabin to anyone & everyone looking for a vacation spot in this area. Well stocked, clean, great kitchen, comfortable beds, quality bedding, great location, easy access… the list goes on and on. Rented the cabin in January for an ice fishing trip but plan to come back in the summer/ fall months for sure. Thank you for sharing this gem with all of us!

    Peaceful Place

Third visit and it won,t be the last ! Quiet and so relaxing. Everything you need is there and it is so close for skiing or fishing at Georgetown Lake. You won't be disappointed. Hot tubing at its best.

  • Ashley   I.

    Cute, Clean, Comfortable

This cabin is so relaxing. Perfectly set up with all the kitchen items you'll need. Lots of towels. Bed is comfortable, on the softer side. The hot tub is the best part. Loved relaxing in front of the fireplace after a long day in the snow. Note: road to cabin is a bit steep, might be difficult for some vehicles in the winter.

  • Cynthia   H.

    cozy, comfy, convenient

though small, the cabin was incredibly comfortable even with five people. it was quiet, the view from the deck is beautiful, and it was a perfect location to head up to ski discovery and to visit phillipsburg for an afternoon. thanks for the great accommodations on a wonderful weekend!

The Little Red Cabin Has Everything You Need!

For the 2017 Spring Break our family stayed the week in the cabin. It is a cozy space that has everything a family needs for a great vacation. There are two bedrooms, washer and dryer, internet, movies, hot tub etc. Plus, the cabin is located in great corner of the world. The Pintlar Scenic Byway, and the Philipsburg/Rock Creek/Georgetown Lake area is Montana at it's finest! Best, Ryan Chapin and Family

  • Sean   O.

Great place, we would come back!

Beautiful scenery, clean place, hot tub with a view! Only thing I would suggest is for the owners to tighten up the bolts in the bunk bed, lots of squeaking...
