The Château is a fairytale setting for your Wedding venue. The 8 large bedrooms offer flexible accommodation for wedding parties. The backdrop of the Château is one of pure romance and elegance. The terrace overlooking the lake is a beautiful place for the wedding service itself. A short walk from the Chateau is the Orangery which offers a wet weather plan without the need to hire a marquee for the reception . Above the Orangery there is an additional large room which is normally used as a Games Room but can be used as a bar or dance area.

The swimming pool was great. I loved the lake and surrounds, the scenery was exquisite. That view from the back steps of the kitchen, past those beautiful lavender beds, into the countryside, would have made my holiday on its own!

From the minute we drove up, we could scarcely believe how fairytale it was. The turrets made it quite magical, and of course its proportions were very grand, but at the same time, it felt very relaxed and informal.

We had a wonderful time at the Chateau. The weather was great, the chateau and surroundings were amazing and Sue could not be any nicer. The dinner she and her husband made for us was fantastic! We will live long on the memories we made this summer . We will definitely recommend both the Chateau and you to our friends.

The chateau looks stunning and provided us with the versatility we were after. This included a good sized pool for swimming and splashing around in with ample space for sunbathing and for the more active amongst us there were games available in the Orangery and lovely countryside to go for walks and runs on the numerous signed footpaths. The size of the chateau and its grounds meant I was always able to find a quiet place to sit and relax when I wanted to. We particularly enjoyed eating out on the terrace and we bbq'd most days. The location is a little remote (although that's something we liked about it) and the village is about a 15 minute walk away through orchards and footpaths or 3 min drive. It has a rustic bar / restaurant and an excellent bakery. The chateau was well placed to strike out from to visit surrounding medieval towns, villages and places of interest which we did do on a couple of days, so I would recommend having your own transport and a good map or sat nav is very helpful. We had a lovely break and hope to return in the near future.
