    “Perfect place for romance.”

We stayed in the Fleur de Lis room. The room was set up with beautiful roses, wine, and cake, The staff was fantastic. The jacuzzi tub was amazing, and we loved the six shower head shower with tv as well. The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was decent, and we enjoyed the free happy hour every night. The only drawback was the location. It was conveniently located to get to all of the main attractions, but there was a small population of homeless people behind the property where we originally parked, and we couldn't find a back door to enter through, so had to walk around. We just parked up front the rest of the time. And the security cameras and number locks helped. No one ever bothered us. Stayed October 2015, travelled as a couple

    “Beautiful and Unique!”

Our room was beautiful and historically unique! I was amazed at the wonderful rustic floor and walls with two hot tubs and even though it was near the city highway...was extremely peaceful and safe! We walked to a little bar with pizza about five blocks away. The garden district was extremely close and the war museum 3 blocks! I enjoyed the swing as well they attached in the back! Breakfast was delicious and the fountains and lights made this bed and breakfast charming and so inexpensive compared to the others! We had a walk in shower with five shower heads...washer and dryer...and wine waiting for us when we arrived along with beer of your choice. The wifi was not the greatest but we were not there for internet. Was the best decision!

    “Amazing place”

The Fleur de Lis Mansion is a lovely place! The premises are luxurious and well taken care of; we loved our room (Bourbon Room). The staff is helpful and friendly, they care about their guests and do everything to make them feel at home. We especially appreciated the bike rental service. The breakfast was ok. “Beautiful and Amazing! We all LOVED our stay!”

My family and friends had the whole mansion over New Year's 2015. What a beautiful place to stay with a large group of people. The mansion is very cozy and accommodating for a large group of people! The rooms are all very unique and different in their own way which makes the property even more beautiful. Our group especially loved spending time in the hot tubs. The staff are also very responsive and flexible. The mansion is also located in a great neighborhood that is walkable to several delicious restaurants and bars. Also, it is close to public transportation. The gang is already talking about doing it all over again. Also, if you do have a group and would like to have a meal in, I HIGHLY recommend Don "Chef Bucks" to host a seafood boil! Absolutely delicious and the property is perfect to host a large group for dinner! I highly recommend staying at the mansion. You will not be disappointed! Stayed December 2015, travelled with friends

    “Great city”

Spent 2 nights in the Jazz Room. Cute room and bathroom. Not exactly what I expected from the online description. The location is deceiving as it is along the highway in the lower Garden District. Nice walk to St. Charles street for Mardi Gras parade and a real neighborhood feel on one side, highway on the other side. We walked everywhere and felt safe once we realized that once we crossed the main road we were in the Warehouse district. The location was better than I realized. Minutes from the convention center, a nice (long)walk to French Quarter and Jackson Square. The B & B recently had a change with their cable tv provider. On day 2 the owners responded within 5 minutes to move a cable box to our room so we had TV. The problem was the inn keeper told us she would take care of it at check in and never told the owners or maintenance . When we were checking in with another couple, there was a man who was asking about getting his refund as he was not going to stay. It worried us! As for happy hour.... there was a bottle of wine in an ice bucket with some beers, which was nice but not what I was expecting or what the other guests were expecting. My biggest complaint was the property said it was "adults only". The first night we had a baby next to us and the walls were paper thin. She was an infant in a car seat. At breakfast there were kids too. We asked about rebooking to bring our family and were told no one under 18? So, is it an adults only property or not? I liked the uniqueness of the property and the owners were very nice and responded in minutes. The innkeeper is new and could not provide any information or answer any questions.

    “Funky Fleur De Lis Mansion”

This is a one of a kind B & B... funky and fun. Each room is decorated in a different style and attractive and comfortable. We were in the Red Room, which has an awesome shower (at least 4' x 8') for two meant for hot romancing. A nice variety of breakfast foods and coffee are ready for you to prepare until 11 a.m. so you can sleep in if you've been wandering French Quarter the night before. We heard from other guests that the beer and wine happy hour was excellent, although we didn't partake. But, we had a cold spell during our stay and our room got quite chilly overnight... because of poor insulation on the outside wall, we were told. And the AC in the bathroom was set for 65 degrees, which couldn't be shut off because the remote wasn't operating correctly. Another problem was with the cable TV hookups. They were operating inconsistently in both our room and our friends' room. Peruse the rooms online and pick your favorite. You'll enjoy your stay

    “Very Interesting House”

We booked the entire house for a bachelor party weekend. The place has 2 hot tubs, outside back deck, large kitchen and ample sleeping arrangements. I liked the decor and the showers with multiple heads were really nice. Its a little pricey but we would still return and stay there again.
